Common Questions About Starting a Construction Cleaning Franchise Business

The FAQs

We will provide up to two weeks of headquarters-based training for you, as the franchise owner, and up to two additional people. We’ll also give you five business days of onsite support around the time of your business launch. We’ll also present you with your own copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your cleaning franchise profitably on a day-to-day basis.

Though some cleaning industry experience would be beneficial, it’s certainly not required. Expanding primarily through single-unit franchises, we are seeking people who will be committed to providing great customer service while operating their local businesses, or who will have an operating partner involved in daily operations and client relations. We look for candidates with basic technology and good business/office management skills, and who are fast learners. We will train you on how to bid on projects, perform top-quality cleaning services, and bill projects properly – you just need to be responsive to your clients and follow the easy, step-by-step instruction at every project stage.

The projected initial investment range for a single start-up location ranges from $67,775 to $90,900; this investment amount includes an initial franchise fee of $25,000 (this fee may be discounted for conversion franchises). As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

Franchisees will pay a royalty rate on an adjustable scale, starting at 6% of gross revenues up to $1 million; 5% on revenues above $1 million. Royalties may be reduced for conversion franchise candidates. Currently we do not charge a Technology Fee, but reserve the right to do so in the future. All collected fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.

In the first year, franchisees will be required to spend a minimum of $300 per month on local advertising; this is subject to change/increase in subsequent periods. Start-up and conversion franchisees will also be required to contribute 1% of gross revenues toward the system marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Izsam brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.

We have partnered with Benetrends Financial. Benetrends offers a full suite of funding options, including 401(k)/IRA Rollovers, SBA Loans, Securities Backed Line of Credit and more! For more information, please visit our Financing page.

The initial term of your franchise agreement is five years, with three additional successor agreement options of five years each.
